Bob Lockyer was honoured with a birthday celebration of a kind. Some of the best contemporary dance groups from London gave a one-off performance for his 70th birthday at The Place.

Choreographed by Boris Eifman to Tchaikovsky’s music, the fabulous dancers from the Eifman Ballet with the principals Maria Abashova as Anna Karenina, Oleg Markov as Karenin and Oleg Gabyshev as Vronsky premiered Anna Karenina at the London Coliseum.
